The VMC 8386BS Circle Tuna 360° is the clever little brother of the 8386 – equipped with a rotating swivel that rotates 360°. That extra rotational freedom prevents line kinking when drift fishing or when working your bait in strong currents. Your bait remains free moving and naturally presented, which is crucial with shy or strong hunting species such as tuna, swordfish or halibut.
Like the base model, this hook is forged from 3X reinforced Hi-Carbon steel, with a black nickel coating against corrosion. The wide hook bend and inward-curved point ensure a neat hooking into the corner of the mouth without damaging vital areas – ideal for catch-and-release or long drills.
Usage tips:
-
Perfect for big game rigs, with or without a stinger.
-
Ideal for baitfish that spin or spin, such as mackerel or squid.
-
Use on flowing cuttings or when sinking at depth.
-
Combine with fluorocarbon or underline material for free-play baits.
