The Illex Magic Slim Shad 5″ (105mm) is the perfect choice for those looking for a slim, natural softbait with convincing action and a larger silhouette. This shad combines the refined action of the smaller Magic models with the power and attraction of a larger lure – ideal for predatory fish that want a little more prey.
The streamlined body and dynamic tail provide beautiful rolling action and powerful vibrations in the water. Even with a slow retrieve, the movement remains lifelike. Thanks to its flexible PVC composition and added lure, the Magic Slim Shad responds to the slightest movement and stimulates the hunting instincts of zander, pike, cod and bass.
This shad is perfect to mount on a jig head for vertical or cast & retrieve fishing, but also works great on a Texas or Carolina rig for a subtle presentation. The 5″ (105mm) version is particularly effective when fishing deeper areas or in light current.
