The Axia Roadman Heavy Shad is a spinning rod designed for targeted fishing with shads and other medium-heavy lures. This rod combines control, sensitivity and power, making it versatile for active predatory fishing techniques where contact with the lure remains essential.
The blank is constructed of 24T carbon and has a fast, tight action. As a result, every tap, bottom structure or bite is clearly transmitted. When jigging with shads, the lure remains tightly under control while there is enough reserve to make a hard strike and steer fish well during the drill.
With a length of 2.28 meters, this rod offers a fine balance between casting length and precision. From the shore you cast further in a controlled manner, while from the boat it remains comfortable to use. The SIC guide eyes ensure smooth line travel and are suitable for use with braided lines.
The IPS reel mount is stable in the hand and gives instant control when actively fishing. The two-piece construction makes the rod easy to transport, making it suitable for mobile anglers and versatile setups.
