Amnesia Sunset nylon

The Amnesia Sunset nylon is a stiff monofilament line developed specifically for making leaders and rigs. This nylon is used worldwide by sea anglers who want maximum control over their bait presentation and mounting. Thanks to its specific composition, Amnesia Sunset combines low memory action with distinct stiffness, keeping underlines tight and uncluttered.

After stretching, this nylon remains almost completely straight. As a result, leaders are less likely to tangle during casting, sinking or fishing at depth. Especially when fishing with current, distance or multiple hooks, this offers a clear advantage. The material withstands intensive use and retains its properties even after prolonged exposure to salt water.

Amnesia Sunset nylon is not intended as a main line, but as a nylon for underlines. It knots and handles smoothly, without sudden breakage or unpredictable behavior. This makes it suitable for both simple leaders and more complex rigging with treble hooks, tree sections or dead bait rigs.

This nylon is available in a variety of colors and in all strengths, so you can match each underline exactly to technique, conditions and personal preference. Rigidity remains consistent across the entire range.

Clear
Maximum camouflage. Ideal when visibility must be kept to a minimum.

The color affects visibility, not the strength or abrasion resistance of the nylon.

Amnesia Sunset nylon – practical applications

The Amnesia Sunset nylon is used in a variety of techniques within marine fishing.

Typical applications:

• Sub-lines for beach fishing

• Mounts for boat and drift fishing

• Boom sections and hooks

• Dead-bait rigs

• Combinations with smoother mono or fluorocarbon

The rigidity keeps hooks and bait better separated from the main line, increasing the effectiveness of the rig.

Amnesia Sunset nylon – choice of strength

Amnesia Sunset nylon is available in a wide range of strengths. This allows the same nylon to be used for a variety of hookups, from finer mounts to heavy-duty applications. Each strength maintains the same controlled stiffness, making building underlines easy and predictable.

Even at heavier diameters, the nylon remains tractable and knotable without feeling extremely stiff.
